Snowflurries

Do you ever get a Christmas Card in the mail and think "OOPS! I didn't mail them a card this year?". At this moment you have a few choices:

(a) Sing a Christmas tune and place the card on a shelf

(b) Write their name down for next year's list

(c) Scramble to your stampin' room and make them a card as fast as you can and pop it in the mail in hopes it makes it there BEFORE Christmas!!

Well, if you're anything like me (c) is the only option. And.. this is the perfect card. I was inspired by a card on one the best stampin' sites out there www.splitcoaststampers.com and tried it out. Very quick and easy which is perfect when you're in a rush.

I took Whisper White Cardstock (been enjoying the clean slate of white!) and punch 3 circles using the 3/4" circle punch. I just found the center of the card and punched out that circle and then marked an inch on either side and punched those ones out. Once it was all punched out, I used my Buckaroo Blue, Cranberry Crisp & Always Artichoke Classic Pads and stamped through the punches with my favorite stamp set at this moment - SNOWFLURRIES. It retires in two days -- but it's one I'll keep using. I actually used it for my own Christmas Cards. A little jingle on the end with Perfect Endings and voila - done! Bet you could make this card in 3 minutes flat. I'm thinking this card could easily be done with Little Pieces out of the main catalog and warm words.....

Hi Jen!

Waving from snow Salt Spring!! Your blog looks great and will be added to my list of favourites too!

Love that snow flurries set, hope it makes the next catalog as I resisted it in the mini ( and have regretted it for about 3 1/2 months)!!
