More Trees

This is using the same Kim Hughes stamp set as my last post.... Summer Trees. This is a VERY simple card that I made for my Dad's birthday -- thought it had a bit of a masculine touch to it. Tried to avoid satin ribbon, so used linen thread and because it's so thin, I thought I'd punch lines along the top to give it a bit of "thickness". My button stash continues to grow (love buttons!!) so I'm trying to use them and not HOARD them. Do you hoard? What do you find yourself saving, but never using?
Stamps - Winter Trees (Kim Hughes), Family Phrases (Stampin' Up!)
Paper - Stampin' Up! River Rock & Whisper White, Basic Grey design paper
Other - Buttons (too many companies all mixed together to know who's is who's ☺), linen thread (Stampin' Up!), Paper punch & template.
Hope you're having a great week.... drop me a line.

This is a great man card! It's cool how you added texture with those punch lines. Buttons are so easy to hoard as they are like little jewels! Especially if you keep them in glass jars to decorate and inspire your craft space. I am a glitter hoarder. I just love looking at it. Regular to fine glitter, glitter glues and stickles....sigh. I love a good twinkle. -tania
