Delayed Thanks.

They say it's "better late than never" and so I CLUNG to that in sending out this card. This past summer (yes, I know... very late indeed!) my Mom's friend allowed us the use of their amazing back yard pool. It was a salt water pool and the surrounding deck was stunning. My son made himself a little lounge chair out of water noodles... laid back & said to me "Mom... this is the life!". Too cute. And ohhhh did it feel like that. They were amazing hosts, bringing out drinks & treats...the kids felt so spoiled! I knew once I got my stamping stuff out, one of the first cards I needed to make was a thank-you to them for creating for us a fabulous memory!!

I used the mini silhouette stamp for this card. Always Artichoke is the base with Bali Breeze design paper. To get the 2-toned color on the center image, I used my Stampin' Up! write markers and colored onto the stamp, huffed & then stamped. :)

So this got into the mail a couple of weeks ago. My top two mail out cards are thank-yous & birthday.... anyone you can think of that needs a card of thanks? :)
